What is the No Dream Deferred Campaign?
On June 15th, 2012 the Department of Homeland Security issued a directive stating that youth are meet certain criteria can be issued Deferred Action, thus alleviating fear of deportation. The No Dream Deferred Campaign is a partnership between the Arizona Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the We Are America/Somos America Coalition, the Arizona State Bar Association, the Arizona Dream Act Coalition, among others.
The No Dream Deferred Campaign aims to provide up-to-date information in connection with the President’s deferred action memo of June 15, 2012 to combat the unlicensed practice of law, including:
1) Education Forums
A team of lawyers and community-based organizations will work together to provide the most up-to-date information as it relates to the deferred action memo. “Like” our Facebook page for information relating to educational forums.
2) Deferred Action Workshops
No Dream Deferred will partner will community based organizations to provide volunteers to assist with workshops to complete applicants after the process is announced by USCIS. Information regarding the date and time of workshops will be posted on our website and Facebook page regarding the date and time of the workshops after USCIS announces its filing procedures.
